HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office motorcycle deputy was involved in a six-vehicle accident in the Gibsonton area on Tuesday afternoon.

It happened in the area of Interstate-75 and Gibsonton Drive.
The deputy, Tim Berg, 37, was pinned underneath a vehicle. Paramedics rescued Berg and he was airlifted to Tampa General Hospital. He was conscious when he was transported to Tampa General. The veteran deputy’s condition is unknown.
Three other patients were transported to local hospitals. A sheriff’s office spokesperson said that the vehicles involved in the crash included a Ford Mustang, a Ford F-150, a sedan, a flatbed semi, a large semi, and the deputy’s motorcycle.
