If their argument was true, then property damage pictures like those here must mean someone died, right? But wait, the children in this car only had a few bumps and bruises, so how can an insurance company’s argument be true? Simple- it isn’t true.
There are so many factors that go into what injuries a person develops from a car crash. Age, health, body position, seatbelt use, vehicle weights, to name just a few. You can even have two people sitting side by side in the same car who have completely different injuries! Or you can have a mother, like the one who was in this car, who took steps to make sure her children were in functional child safety seats.
At the end of the day, whether someone is injured in a car crash has a lot of different variable that come in to play. It is not, as some insurers would have you believe, as simple as looking at a few pictures of property damage and assuming someone is or is not injured based off of those pictures.
