Initiate litigation; conduct discovery; prepare and respond to motions; attend hearings, depositions and mediations; prepare proposed orders. Engage in settlement negotiations. Trial preparation (e.g. prepare witness and exhibit lists, motions in limine, jury instructions, etc.). Conduct trials.
Client RelationsMeet with and foster relationships with clients and potential clients. Discuss litigation status with and convey settlement offers to clients, be responsive to questions, discuss legal issues. Attend meetings, seminars and other client-related events.
Entry-Level Demands Paralegal
The position will involve a great deal of computer-based data entry, research and file organization.
No Experience Needed. We Will Train.Utilizing spreadsheets for calculations and tracking production. Independent time management, as well as collaboration with partners and teams within the Demands department.
