Review and analysis of file documents, statutes, case law and rules of procedure.
Assess files for litigation/representation.
Initiate litigation; conduct discovery; prepare and respond to motions; attend hearings, depositions and mediations; prepare proposed orders.
Engage in settlement negotiations.
Trial preparation (e.g. prepare witness and exhibit lists, motions in limine, jury instructions, etc.).
Meet with and foster relationships with clients and potential clients.
Discuss litigation status with and convey settlement offers to clients, be responsive to questions, discuss legal issues.
Attend meetings, seminars and other client-related events.
