What To Do In A Road Rage Situation?

You have seen other articles we have posted about some horrible road rage incidents.

But what do you do if you have been pulled into a road rage incident by another driver?

A recently video discusses what to do when exposed to those situations.

Most important- do not engage the other driver.

 

We all have bad days. Sometimes, unusual stresses results in situations we would never normally be in because we let emotions like anger and frustration take over.

Escalating road rage has lead to murders and serious personal injury.  Be safe out there!

Avoid eye contact with aggressive drivers as this can be seen as confrontational. Try to keep any encounter impersonal.

Never Approach the Window

If trapped in traffic or at a red light and feel threatened, do not open your door or roll down your window if the other driver approaches you. Keep your doors locked, call 911 and honk loudly for help.
